How to apply - Students Educational Grant
We are accepting applications from students for educational support between 1 April and 31 May 2021
The Guidelines give step-by-step advice on applying for funding.
Before you apply:
In order to prepare your application, please make sure you are eligible for funding.
Please download and read the Guidelines on this page and check our Geographical area.
It is very important to do this, as many of the applications we receive are not eligible and so fall at the first fence.
Have you read the Application Guidelines in full?
Geographical Area - Do you live within 100 miles of the centre of Hereford or does the address of the College/University etc you will be attending meet this criteria?
We do not support online courses or overseas studies.
Do you meet the criteria to apply for funding and can you satisfy all requests for information?
Please note that we may make direct contact with the educational establishment where you will be studying in order to assist us make a decision on your application.
We are unable to consider applications from overseas students unless you now live in the UK and meet the geographical requirments.
You will only need to complete and return the 2 page application form in the first instance. Do not send any other documents. If we need more information, we will request it.
The maximum amount we will allocate to a successful student is £2,500. Please bear this in mind when submitting your application form.
All forms must be received completed by 23.59hrs on 31 May 2021.
If you have applied to the Charity for funding before (whether successful or not) you are welcome to apply again for 2021/2022 educational period.

Guidance for Applicants
Please read the Application Guidelines first then download and save the application form below
If you are having difficulties with the form, try these steps:-
1. Please click to download/open the relevant document.
2. Once open "save as" your name first.
3. Close the form you have just saved to your computer.
4. Now reopen the saved form and complete all boxes.
If you do not do this, it may not be saved in the correct format and your application could be rejected.
Please ensure all information remains visible within the text boxes on the form as these are printed off.
When you have submitted your application, it will be acknowledged by email. Please do not telephone to enquire on the progress of your application as we will be unable to update you.
