Pediatrics Department at CSR Nursing Home is steadily growing and headed by Dr. Ambika, DCH with the support of Dr. Elango, DCH. Peadiatric patients are attended by the qualified paediatricians round the clock. Through our dedicated services, we have acquired a very good reputation for diagnosing and treating all types of paediatric patients. The general paedriatrics consists of a separate emergency cum procedure room which is equipped with critical care resuscitation trolley, suction apparatus, incubation sets, emergency drugs, nebulisers, cardiac monitor, pulse oximeter infusion pumps etc. The department is highly specialized in Neonatal resuscitation, Acute Gastroenteritis.
Pediatric Surgery is one of the most well established department / center of CSR. The department is being headed by Dr. G. Rajamani, MS, MCH and the spectrum of surgeries performed by them are:
1. Cleft-Lip and Palate correction
2. Tracheo Oesophageal Fistula
3. Intussusception
4. Intestinal Obstruction etc.
Plastic Surgery department headed by Dr. Thirugnanam, MS, MCH effectively deals with all correctional surgery and treatment. The deparment is one of the prime centers which deals with most of the industrial hand and other injuries.
The spectrum of services rendered by the department are :
1. Cosmetic
• Rhinoplasty
• Breast-reduction and augmentation
• Abdominoplasties
2. Cleft Lip and Palate correction surgery
3. Cancer resections and reconstruction
4. Correction of congenital deformities like ptosis, haemangiomas, tumors.
5. Burn care unit, Surgical correction of post burn problems
The post operative care rendered in our hospital is exemplary since 1:1 nurse/patient ratio is followed.
