CSR Pain Clinic a modern physiotherapy unit is a well-equipped department with experienced and qualified physiotherapists giving their noble service to the patients for their rehabilitation. The trauma patients and the paralyzed patients are given treatment with latest techniques. The department has become popular for providing high standards of rehabilitation services to the geriatric patients.

LABORATORY SERVICES
   Lab is well equipped with stat fax semi-auto analyzer, Cell counter, Elisa Reader etc. Routine Blood & Urine, Bio-chemical & serological studies, Hormone assays, Culture & sensitivity and Routine investigation are done effectively.

MICROBIOLOGY
   The department activities include
     1. Microscopy
     2. Culture, identification & sensitivity susceptibility testing of clinical
         specimens (c) Serology by Rapid tests and ELISA with an Automated
         ELISA reader
     3. Western Blot Assay for HIV confirmation
     4. Microbial Surveillance of operation theatres and various hospital areas
     5. Monitoring Hospital acquired infections

BIO-CHEMISTRY
   The bio-chemistry department is processing around 100 estimations of different Bio-chemical parameters per day. This includes routine bio-chemical estimation as well as special bio-chemical analysis. Glycosylated Haemoglobin (HbA1C), Prostate specific Antigen, Stone Analysis, Electrophoresis etc., are some of the special biochemical tests.

   The lab is accredited to CMC Vellor and equipped with modern equipment. HB, Blood Grouph & RH, TC, DC, Platelet count, ESR Mantoux test, Sugar, Glycosylated Hb, Urea, Creatinine, Uric Acid, Widal, Malarial Parasite, Cholesterol, CPK – NAC, MB : Trop – T, Lipid profile, VDRL, HIV, Hbs ag, SGOT, SGPT, BT, CT, Serum alk phosphatase, serum proteins, Albumin, Globulin, Serum billirubin – T/D, Asotitre, RA factor etc., are some of the investigations done in the laboratory.

Ultrasound department is headed by Dr. Ravindran MD, DMRD with effective support of efficient staff. Routine AN study, follicular studies, general abdomen & pelvis study, prostrate, testes, thyroid scans.
